‘Tis the season – for fur that is! It will come as no shock to many that fur has always been a part of my fall/winter wardrobe for years – during which, I have tirelessly tried to defend my personal choice to wear. I respect everyone’s right to an opinion on fur, or their right to eat or wear other animals. I won’t make this post about that, however. If you would like to inform yourself on the Canadian Fur Trade, I encourage you to do so on your own.
I picked up this cross-fox vest from my family at Charisma Furs, and I couldn’t be happier. Aside from being super warm, the range of colours complements my skin-tone in a completely different and wonderful way! What I love about cross-fox, as well as silver fox which I have owned in the past – is that no one fox is the same. The hues vary from piece to piece which grants you a one-of-a-kind look in many cases. The metallic hues that you may spot between the layers is snakeskin, which happens to add a fancy touch to the overall look.
Charisma Furs has something for everyone, whether its trim, a small accessory, revamping an old family item passed down, or a wide variety of jackets to choose from. Their team is dedicated to offering the ultimate styling experience with any idea you have in mind. Contrary to common belief – fur doesn’t have to be expensive. The group also offers flexible layaway plans for those on a budget. Be sure to check them out!
PS – If you like the look of fur, but are against its production – I’ve linked some synthetic alternatives below to ease your conscience. Happy Shopping!
