I spent a Saturday afternoon running some errands in my old neighbourhood and stopped in for a shoot at 401 Richmond. I grew up in the area at a time when it was a lot less glam. I love going back to my old stomping grounds to get some of my favourite things!
401 Richmond is an age-old heritage building, which has been restored over the years – and now serves as a light and airy workspace for a variety of local artists. The sunlight beaming in, exposed brick, and the decorative, unique spin on “fire escape” staircases had me sold. I have always had a love for old industrial feels to modern buildings.
